I have been a knitter for about ten years. 

My yarn dyeing adventure began about six years ago after I knit my first pair of socks. The yarn I was using was very nice yarn, but it pooled, and I hated the look of it! I started researching why yarn would pool, and then decided to give it a shot myself, what is the worst that could happen? I got hooked on yarn dyeing, and quickly realized I couldn't possibly EVER knit all the yarn I had dyed so, Lazy Bee Yarn came to be.

I am lucky to live in the knitter rich community of Lincoln, Nebraska.  We have tons of knitters, lots of great yarn stores stocked with fantastic people and yarn.  I enjoy teaching yarn dyeing classes and watching projects progress from dye vat to needles!

My Grandmom said that people aren't happy unless they are creating something. On my journey in life I have found this to be true. I am most happy when creating, and yarn dyeing fits perfectly.
